Q: What is the Step Up 4 Health & Wellness Expo?
A: The Step Up 4 Health & Wellness Expo will feature 4k and 1-mile walking routes through Methodist University campus, Wellness Expo with 50+ vendors, food trucks, and more. This is an opportunity to also show our community the many services that Cape Fear Valley Health has to offer.

Q: What is the Wellness Expo?
A: The Wellness Expo will take place at Methodist University following the walk and is free to the public. This health-related educational festival will be a fun addition for the whole family. The Expo will feature many Cape Fear Valley Health services, food trucks, music, and local Fayetteville businesses. Last year, there were over 50 vendors in the Expo!

Q: Can I start or join a team?
A: Absolutely! When you register for the event, you will have the option to start a team, join a team or register as an individual. Once you click through the registration process, you can then select which patient care area you would like to support. You may select Friends of the Cancer Center,  CAP (Community Alternatives Program), CCMAP (Cumberland County Medication Access Program), Children’s Services, Heart Care, Nursing Education Scholarship, or you can click "All-In" and your registration fee will be divided amongst these six areas.

Q: When is the Step Up 4 Health and Wellness Expo?
A: Saturday, April 15, 2025 from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm. Opening ceremonies will begin at 10:00 am and the Wellness Expo will start as soon as the walk starts at 10:30 am.

Q: Where does the Walk and Expo take place?
A: Methodist University (5400 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311)

Q: What is the registration cost for children?
A: Through March 14, the registration cost for children is $25 (ages 4-12). Children 3 and under are free.

Q: Do you offer group discount pricing?
A: Yes! If you register 4 or more individuals together, you will receive $5 off per registrant fee (no discount code required).

Q: Do I receive a t-shirt for registering?
A: Yes, every registrant will receive a t-shirt. To be guaranteed your desired t-shirt size, you must register by March 14.

Q: When is t-shirt pickup?
A: Registrants may pickup their t-shirt at the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation office (Medical Arts Building - 101 Robeson Street, Suite 106) on Friday, April 11 from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm or at the registration tent morning of event.

Q: Can I register on the day of the event?
A: Yes! We encourage participants to register ahead of time, but we will have a registration table at Methodist University on Saturday, April 12.
