2022 Common Heart Hunger Walk

St Margaret of Scotland is considered the patron saint of serving the poor.   As Queen of Scotland she was know for her piety and service.  A key part of who she was could be seen in her charitable acts for the poor. In loving and honoring them, she was loving and honoring Christ. These included washing their feet and serving them food.

St Margaret's Episcopal Church, in the spirit of St Margaret, continues a tradition of encouraging a spiritual life that includes serving the poor.  Please join us as we take steps to end local hunger through participating in the Common Heart Hunger Walk.

Did you know that Common Heart's 10 food pantries are a lifeline for our hungry neighbors? In 2021, Common Heart served 10,861 individuals an average of 12 times! You can join this small revolution of kindness by walking with me and making a donation. Every $25 feeds a local family for one week. Thank you for your support!
