Thank you for checking out my fundraising page. I am an Operation Iraqi Freedom Combat Veteran and I’m raising money for Semper Fi & America’s Fund. The Fund (as it’s called for short) has helped me so much to regain control of my life and without their help, encouragement, opportunities, and support I would not be where I am today. Since day one The Fund has helped me overcome the invisible wounds known as PTSD. These invisible wounds were sustained during my three deployments to Iraq in 03, 04, and 05. The Fund has given me a purpose and an outlet within the Team Semper Fi program. I would not be where I am today without their support and encouragement for me to get out of my comfort zone and excel in areas that in ever would have thought possible. Team Semper Fi has given me a sense of community and purpose that I am so grateful for and this is the reason I want to give back. I want to raise money so they can continue to help other veterans regain control of their lives and live their best life possible.
In a few days I’ll be attending a PTSD maintenance program where I’ll be able to connect with other veterans and we will be hiking 100 miles. This PTSD mobile maintenance program will allow us to navigate our wounds while exploring ways to heal and continue to move forward with life. This maintenance program and everything that The Fund and Team Semper Fi does is near and dear to my heart and I’m asking you to please consider making a donation to this life saving organization.
