Q: What is the Cenla Safe Shelter Project?

A: With the opening process of our new shelter in Central Louisiana, we are asking the public to BE INVOLVED in the naming of it! The Safe Shelter Project is not only an opportunity for us to raise funds for the new shelter, but an opportunity for the community to give their input. How does it work? We have narrowed the debate down to three names. From those, the name which receives the most votes will go on to be the name of our new shelter, which will be providing a safe and confidential place for women and children who are fleeing domestic violence.
