Okauchee Lake was the playground of the working man. Speakeasies, gangsters, and hideouts once dotted the shoreline. Compare this history to that of Lac laBelle which was known as the “Newport of the West”. Bring a cooler for drinks and food or we can stop to enjoy one of the lake side restaurants and bars.
