In celebration of Thanksgiving, Chi-Care will expand its meal distribution program across seven consecutive days, beginning on Friday, November 22, 2024. Each day will involve meal distributions supported by local restaurants, volunteers, and sponsors to deliver over 1,000 meals across Chicago neighborhoods. This initiative not only provides much-needed nourishment but also embodies the spirit of community and gratitude during the holiday season.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers play an essential role in our Thanksgiving week distributions, helping with tasks such as meal packaging, transportation, and delivery. This week’s efforts provide various shifts and roles, accommodating a range of schedules and locations. Volunteer spots are available each day, with greater demand on Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Donation Options:
1. One-Time Donations: Any amount is welcomed and goes directly toward our meal distribution
program.
2. Sponsorship Opportunities: Local businesses and organizations can sponsor a day’s
distribution or route.
3. Meal Matching Program: Donors can match meals on a one-to-one basis, doubling the impact
for each meal donated.
