2025 Detroit Auto Show 5K

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the Detroit Auto Show and the Friends of the Outdoor Adventure Center team up to bring back the Auto Show 5K!

Join us on Saturday, January 11 at 9AM at Huntington Place. The route will take place along the Detroit Riverfront and start/finish outside the doors of the Detroit Auto Show.

All proceeds of the event will help update the exhibits at the Outdoor Adventure Center.

Tickets to the Detroit Auto Show (public days) can be purchased at a discount through the 5K event. Tickets are discounted by 25%

Adult tickets will be available for $15 ($20 at the door), senior tickets for $9 ($12 at the door), and kids tickets for $7.50 ($10 at the door). Auto Show ticket sales end on January 6 to allow time for pick up.

“We look forward to another great run with the community as we mark the opening of the celebrated Detroit Auto Show and support the great work of our friends at the Outdoor Adventure Center and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources,” said Detroit Auto Show Chairman Karl Zimmermann.

Early packet pick up will take place on Friday, January 10 from 4PM until 6PM at the Outdoor Adventure Center

Race day packet pick up will take place one hour prior to the race start time at Huntington Place.

Awards will be given to first place overall and first place in each age category. 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 and up
