Bert Terranova
Head Coach - Mites
BIO - Bert has been mentoring and coaching youth hockey players for over 20 years. He’s been with Wonderland for the last 5 years. He not only loves developing a player's skating technique but also helping their hockey IQ. Bert feels strongly that to have excellent well rounded players, they need to be exceptional teammates on and off the ice. He enjoys developing players into their best selves and building their overall confidence as individuals through positive interactions and reassurance. He believes that allowing them to develop creativity with their skills will help them learn to build their confidence on and off the ice.
Damon Zurolo
Head Coach - Squirts
BIO - Damon is currently a sophomore at Sacred Heart University where he is majoring in education. Damon grew up playing minor hockey for The Greater New Haven Warriors before playing at Cheshire High School where he earned first team all conference and second team all state. Damon then continued his career at Bridgton Academy where he played in one of the top prep school hockey leagues in the country while also graduated with a 3.7 GPA.
Tyler Palumbo
Head Coach - PeeWees
BIO - Tyler is a passionate and hard working student-intern at LivFree from Fairfield CT. He is currently a sophomore at Sacred Heart University where he double majors in both marketing and accounting. Tyler grew up playing minor hockey with the Wonderland Wizards winning a tier 2 state championship as well as a New England regional Silver Stick Championship. In high school Tyler played 2 years of Midget AAA hockey with the Connecticut Junior Rangers, where he won a USPHL league title while competing against some of the best AAA teams in North America. In 2022 he enrolled at Bridgton Academy in Maine playing in one of the top prep school leagues in the country, while also graduating with a 3.9 GPA. Which earned him an academic scholarship to Sacred Heart.

Camp Director
BIO - Jim is the Chief Inspiration Officer at LivFree and has coached hockey as a part of Wonderland Wizards Youth Hockey Program for 10 years at the Micro, Mite, Squirt, and PeeWee levels. He has over 20 years experience as a mentor, teacher, and coach of young people throughout Fairfield County from Elementary School to High School. He has also mentored and coached adults.
Gavin Keller
Assistant Coach - Mites
BIO - Gavin is all things hockey! Beginning his career with the Wonderland Wizards, Gavin avidly committed to his sport. Completing two years of high school hockey with Notre Dame West Haven then going on to complete another two seasons with the Junior Rangers, Gavin knows all of the ins and outs of the game! Gavin specializes in technical skating with highlights in edge work, speed, balance, and ice IQ.
Tyler Grecco
Assistant Coach - Squirts
BIO - Tyler is a dedicated student-athlete who spent three years as part of the Division I Varsity hockey program at Notre Dame of Fairfield. Known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment both on and off the ice, Tyler has always brought a disciplined and team-first approach to everything he does. He’s also a member of the varsity lacrosse and golf teams at Notre Dame, and was named the captain of the lacrosse team for the 2025 spring season. He will be attending Penn State University next year to continue his academic and athletic journey.
Connor Benz
Assistant Coach - PeeWees
BIO - Connor is a dedicated student-athlete from Milford, Connecticut, currently attending Foran High School, where he served as captain of both the golf and hockey teams. He grew up playing hockey throughout the CT area, winning a Tier 2 state championship with the West Haven Peewees before continuing his career with Elite Hockey Academy and the Connecticut Jr. Rangers. Connor will be doing a postgraduate year at Bridgton Academy in Maine to further pursue his academic and athletic goals. Last summer, he worked as a counselor at the Elite Hockey Camp at the New Hampton School in New Hampshire, sharing his knowledge and passion for the game with younger players.
