In Kate’s second year with the team, she is excited to take on the position of LivRun Ambassador. Kate was a cross country and track athlete for 9 years, starting at Trumbull High School where she received All-Conference, All-State, All-New England honors, and was a 2x state champion. She spent the rest of her competitive career running at UCONN. There she studied Secondary English Education, and she is now working as a 7th grade ELA teacher in New Haven. She has returned to Trumbull High School as a coach, working alongside Chief Inspiration Officer, Jim McCaffrey, during the cross country season. She is currently in her third year working with the cross country and track teams. She has helped develop teams and athletes at the county, state, regional, and national level.
