HOOP! FOR NOAH

HOOP! FOR NOAH is a 3-on-3 fundraiser basketball tournament in memory of Noah Bruce Macias. Noah was a young man who had a passion for serving others and he took pleasure in serving the youth at Kinloch Price Boys Ranch in Valley Center, a residential home for boys operated by Youth Horizons. 

Noah loved basketball and his family is honoring him through the 3-on-3 tournament. The event is scheduled for April 12 - 13 at Calvary Baptist Church in Derby.  The tournament will tip-off at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 12 with an opening ceremony and bracket play. On Saturday, April 13, bracket play will resume at 8 a.m. and conclude with the championship game at 7 p.m. The tournament will pause for a lunch break from noon to 1 p.m. 

There is a 32-team limit. Each team has a three-game guarantee. There will be a 15-minute running clock with a court rotation every 20 minutes. The games will be played on half court and the highest score wins.  

Each team will consist of 3 - 5 players and each team has a registration fee of $80. The "Team Captain" must register first then other team members will be allowed to register under the team name. The registration deadline is Thursday, April 4. 

Participants will receive a player pack, which includes t-shirts, gift cards, and more. Proceeds from the tournament benefit Youth Horizons.
