Get Your Move On is a month-long fitness challenge for Octagon R&CPMK employees across the globe. As part of our commitment to mental health, we encourage you to sign up, participate in a physical activity of your choice, and track your time.
Mental health and physical health are closely connected. What’s good for the body is often good for the mind. Physical activity has many well-established mental health benefits including: improved brain health and cognitive function, a reduced risk of anxiety and depression, improved sleep and overall quality of life. Although not a cure-all, increasing physical activity directly contributes to improved mental health and better overall health and well-being.
