6th Annual Weighted Angels 5k Run & Walk

Join with friends, family members, or colleagues to walk/run in honor of all babies gone to soon.

Create a team to honor the memory and celebrate the lives of a loved one.

Our 2024 race will be the 2024 RRCA 5K VA State Meet Championship Race.

Awards: Cash prizes to top three overall men and women of $150, $100, and $50. Awards to the top three in five-year age groups (from 14-and-under through 70-and-over), and to the top three men and women in the walk division. Awards also given to the top three team fundraiser groups.

Kids can dress up in their favorite zoo animal attire for this fun race! The run will be an out and back 1 mile run. Open to ages 12 and under.

Please join us before the race event for a loving service that will recognize the sweet babies that have left us too soon. Every attendee will be able to create a personalized bracelet in honor of their loved one. Submit a name under the registration section to be read a loud during the service.

Complete your walk or run in memory of a loved one virtually. If you would like to support Weighted Angels, but don't live locally you are welcomed to participate virtually from wherever you are anytime through Saturday October 19, 2024. Virtual participants will receive a medal and t-shirt.( plus shipping and handling)

* Virtual participants are not eligible to win any awards.

Honor your Angel at the finish to allow runners and walkers to acknowledge, honor, and remember your Angel.

A 24” wide x 18” tall sign will be created for your Angel and placed on the side of the course as our racers finish their 5K.

We encourage you to send us an email with an animal or symbol that your family feels honors your baby best.

All names must be submitted by September 30, 2024
