Description
Can you run half-naked in the cold January air? While we certainly don't expect this of everyone, this "stripped down" format for the race was tied to its humble beginnings, and it has evolved and grown since then. All half marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal. All quarter and half marathon runners will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt! It is quite the accomplishment to complete a HALF MARATHON! This year, both the half and quarter marathons WILL BE CHIP TIMED! The half marathon course is certified and will count as an official time. AGE GROUP awards will be given for BOTH races (distributed by 10-year age group).
13.1 mile out and back course
Course closes at 11 a.m. Anyone on the course after this time is "on their own".

T-Shirts and Finishing Medals
A long-sleeve race T-shirt and finishing medal are given out to participants. The T-shirt is a dark olive "military" green that says "I RUN HALF NAKED." To be guaranteed a race T-shirt, be sure to be registered at least four weeks before race day (tentative deadline). We will provide an image of the finishing medal when one is available.
COURSE RULES
The Half Naked Marathon and Quarter Marathon is open to runners and walkers of all abilities. There is no age minimum. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian register for them online. We strongly discourage the use of earbuds. The roads are OPEN - you need to be aware of your surroundings. Bicycles, in-line skates, and other non-official wheeled vehicles and pets are prohibited for registered runners! Service animals must have provided documents before the race for consideration. Our insurance will not cover pets. However, we will allow strollers with infants as long as you start at the back of the race pack. Please be courteous of all runners and allow others to pass.
