May 16th will mark the one-year anniversary of losing my Dad, Ken Kreh. I would like to honor his memory by joining my community of grievers at Michael's Place, a place I have been going for support since my Dad's unexpected death, in the Michael's Place Spring Challenge to raise funds for this essential community resource. They provide a compassionate, warm place to land in this journey of grief. My Dad loved being outdoors, he appreciated the beauty of nature, he especially loved springtime and marveled at the colors of the new blooms every year. Anyone who knew him knows he was a talented golfer and spent countless hours on the course. I want to honor his memory by participating in the Spring Challenge, being active and spending time outdoors like my Dad. If you choose to golf, I hope you'll think of my Dad on the course. If you walk, bike, run, etc. I hope you'll think of my Dad then, too. I know I do every day. And I know he'd be happy to see us enjoying these activities together. He had a playful spirit and always had fun - a kid at heart. Thank you for joining us.
Michael's Place works to ensure that children, families, and schools have access to essential programs and services for bereavement care while equipping the community with education and resources that foster compassion and confidence in bereavement responses. Support the Michael's Place Challenge💙
