Information

Please help the UCLA Health Santa Monica Campus face hunger in our communities by supporting the Westside Food Bank. This year’s Food Drive starts Monday November 1st and runs through December 4th and is sponsored by Nursing's Structural Empowerment Magnet Council.  Our goal is to collect 200 Boxes of Cereal and raise $ 2000!

For more than forty (40) years, Westside Food Bank has been providing nutritious meals for over 200,000 in need and their families right here in our local community. Food insecurity is currently at an all-time high throughout L.A. and on the Westside—because of financial challenges sparked by the pandemic, many individuals and families are still reaching out for food support.

We are collecting both food and monetary donations in order to bring hope, relief, and security to our neighbors struggling with hunger during COVID. Food-collection bins will be in the hospital lobbies, Café Santa Monica and our Outpatient Surgery Center. For your convenience, smaller bins will be on nursing units and in ancillary areas.

Thank you for joining Nursing’s Structural Empowerment Council in taking care of our community!
