Biography
Aundell Terrell Jr. is a professional NFL cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons. He played college football at Clemson University and was drafted by the Falcons in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.
Terrell Jr. moved from Rochester NY to Atlanta Georgia in 2001. He attended Westlake High School where he played both sides of the field as a wide receiver on offense and defensive back on defense. He was also a star athlete on the track team. A five-star recruit, Terrell Jr. was selected to play in the Nike Opening and Under Armor All-America Game in 2017. He committed to Clemson University on signing day to play college football.
As a true freshman at Clemson, Terrell Jr. played in 14 games, recording 15 tackles and an interception. As a sophomore in 2018, he started all 15 games and had 53 tackles, three interceptions and returned a 44-yard touchdown at the 2019 National Football against Alabama. At the end of Terrell’s junior year in 2019, he was named to the first team All-ACC, and declared for the NFL draft, foregoing his senior season. The Atlanta Falcons selected Terrell Jr. in the first round as the 16th overall pick of the 2020 NFL draft and in just two seasons with the Falcons, Terrell Jr. has been named a shut-down corner and on January 14, 2022, a second-team All-Pro.
The second of four children to Aliya and Aundell Terrell Sr., Terrell Jr. believes in the importance of family and spends quality time with them as well as co-parents his son, Aundell III (Tre). Terrell Jr. has also spent a lot of time investing back into his high school and the surrounding communities. Terrell Jr. will host his 1st football camp through his foundation in June 2022 and is excited that he is able to do it in the city that he loves.
