Pedal the Cause

Dear Family and Friends,

My cousin Denise (Neese) lost her battle 8 years ago. My dad, Ted Sr., passed on November 17, 2022. My Uncle Jess passed away Christmas Eve 2021. All from cancer. Neese, Dad and Uncle Jess inspire me every day and are a constant reminder of cancer and it's reality. As I have continued to spread the word of prevention, I continue to be reminded by those that are fighting the good fight. To my close friends/fam, DC, Way, and D Lowe all who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer in the last 24 months, I see you, feel you, and I ride in your honor.

There are too many people suffering and being lost to cancer in America. I joined the Board of Directors of Pedal the Cause in 2020 to raise awareness and money for those fighting bravely and for those we have lost. I am riding for those who can't.....

Pedal the Cause is more than a cycling event for me. It is a movement fueled by a passion to end cancer. It takes world-class research and donations like ours to envision a world without cancer. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that hasn't been affected by cancer.

Please help me in this journey by making a donation, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will go directly to innovative cancer research at Washington University in St. Louis' Siteman Cancer Center. The best scientific minds in the world are putting your dollars to live-saving use.

As I look to those things that mean the most to me, I want to be part of the solution. So I’m in this for the long haul. I want to see a cure for cancer in my lifetime.
