I’m riding 68 miles in honor of my wife, Suellen. This year would have been her 68th birthday, just a few days after the Badger Challenge.
My goal is to raise $680 for cancer research and treatment at UW. The UW Carbone Center helped us gain months of precious time together when Suellen was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma in 2022. She passed away after a ten month battle.
Badger Challenge takes place in September and 100% of all dollars-raised are presented to the newly announced Scholar Class by January of the next year. This is done quickly so the funds can make an impact in the labs and hospital helping patients and families immediately.
