Our concern for the children of this world and more immediately, this community, has only grown stronger. The need for funds and programs, at times, can seem over whelming. But, we are lucky to have an organization like The Just for Kids Foundation. This organization continues to help hundreds of children here in the West end and all over San Miguel County.
Our goal is to raise $6,000 and we need your help! Please consider giving what you can & know that you are making a real difference in the lives of our local children. Every dollar raised through participant fundraising is matched dollar for dollar by the Carstens Family Fund, so donations are doubly important! Your donation is tax deductible.
Mountains to Desert is the annual fundraiser for the Just For Kids Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) based in Telluride, Colorado. JFK provides essential scholarships, operating grants, program support, capital & start-up funding, and new/updated equipment to deserving youth & youth organizations within the towns of Telluride, Norwood, Nucla, Naturita, Paradox & all points in between. A special focus is placed on projects that offer leadership opportunities and/or promote self-sufficiency & responsibility.
