Pedal the Cause

I know what togetherness is like since I shared a womb with my twin sister, a room with her for 20 years, and many interests and activities together.  I was hoping not to share breast cancer with her though, but 15 years after my diagnosis Sherry got it too, and then our sister-in-law Cheryl the year after that.  We have traveled the cancer journey together with many others, all doing their best to survive and thrive beyond the diagnosis. I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer because we are all in this together. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
