Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.

Please support my efforts by donating to my fundraiser, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

I began my PTC journey in 2013 when my friend Ron asked me to ride with him and if anyone is ever asked to ride join the PTC family by someone fight cancer the answer is a resounding YES!  I've continued to ride for Ron and several others for many reasons, but the best is because I see the difference PTC makes on so many friends, family and the STL community.

This year I'm riding for everyone Listed below, but there are two people new to my list who were diagnosed this year.

Graci Badami was diagnosed and BEAT thyroid cancer through surgery and treatment this year.  Many call thyroid cancer the 'Little c" or "best type of cancer" to get and both may be accurate, but there are no scarier words spoken by a Dr. than, "Your daughter has cancer".  God bless you and the incredible strength you showed- you're amazing!  

Brendan- my colleague at Aerotek who was recently diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma cancer of the liver and begins treatment at Siteman the week before PTC 2024.

My buddy Ron- may you RIP.  Ron fought cancer for 10+ year because of the developments at Siteman.  You're one of the strongest, self-less, most positive, persevering people I've met.  God Bless your beautiful family!

My niece who beat pancreatic cancer and is now a RN, Mother and wife.  So proud of your career choice to give back to those who gave to you.

Unfortunately, there are several more to list who are no longer with us, my Grandmother, Uncle, Grandfather, friend's daughter and friends from high school.
