IRIS is a refugee resettlement agency based in New Haven— they do amazing work in the community to support new families who have sought asylum after fleeing from violence in their countries. They just lost $4 million in funding, money that was supposed to directly support hundreds of refugee families who recently arrived in CT and are trying to get established in our country and in our community.
