2024 Badger Challenge to help fund cancer research
I am writing to you today with a purpose that is close to my heart. As you may or may not know my life has been impacted by cancer on more than one occasion. The last encounter ended as well as it could have with my mother surviving her 3yr battle with cancer. The UW Cancer Clinic and Dr Lee Wilke along with her team saved my moms life!
This year on September 22, 2024, I will be participating in the Badger Challenge to help raise money for cancer research at the University of Wisconsin. This challenge brings together individuals from all walks of life to bike, run, or walk in solidarity with those affected by cancer. I am riding the 100 mile bike route to try and raise as much money as I can to help support the great women and men who saved my moms life in their continued research.
The Badger Challenge is more than just a physical endeavor; it is a beacon of hope for countless individuals and families battling this disease. It supports groundbreaking discoveries that accelerate treatment initiatives, directly impacting current and future patients’ lives.
