Not to knock the virtues of futile doom-scrolling, but have you been feeling the need to do something tangible to push back against the harm that He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named is inflicting upon the most vulnerable members of our community? If so, please consider donating to support our fundraising for the IRIS (Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services) Run For Refugees! IRIS is one of Connecticut's main refugee resettlement agencies, doing tremendous work in difficult circumstances. The new administration has cut off $4 million in funding from IRIS, so it is imperative that we support refugee resettlement in these distressing times. We'll be doing the race (at a leisurely pace) on Sunday, February 9, and we'd be grateful for your support. These walking shoes fight fascism!
