As you may know, I started Elevate to Even Plus (Elevate+) in an effort to make a meaningful difference. As a lifelong supporter of race issues, I realized in tumultuous 2020 that I needed to get proactive. It wasn't enough to opine about race issues in the United States if I wasn't actively working to change the dynamic myself. Elevate+ is all about doing that -- providing opportunity to underserved students that very well change the trajectory of their lives. To date we've placed students into 150 meaningful, paid internships that provide the skills, experiences, and relationships that help prepare them to land jobs in their chosen fields faster and for more money. Every young person deserves the chance to thrive, regardless of their background.
