Description
The John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon Fur-K is back! The Fur-K Festival is hosted by the DECS North Star Academy and Snowflake Nordic Ski Center on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Run or canicross your choice of the 5K or 10K race on Snowflake's beautiful cross-country ski trails. But get ready because the afternoon will finish fast and furious with the 1K kids race!
The main event will be the LIVE opening of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon race musher sign-up!
Do not forget to check out the sled dogs, local food trucks, North Shore small businesses, artists, kid activities, bouncy house, raffles, and more! The festival runs from 10 am to 4 pm, rain or shine.

Please note: The Fur-K is a dog-friendly trail run! Your dog MUST be on a leash and you MUST pick up your dog's poop. Your dog needs to be well-mannered (human & dog friendly). We reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog cannot behave. No muzzles allowed.
