Our Angel Wally battled with DM. He succumbed to the devastating disease at 14 in November 2022.
Two years have passed since our sweet puppy boy left this earth to frap freely over that rainbow bridge. There is still and will always be a piece of our hearts missing with Wally not being here with us. He was one of a kind and truly changed our lives. During the last 2 and a half years of his life he showed us his strength and resiliency as he battled DM. Some days were harder than others, but we always did whatever we could to help him fight the good fight.

We are their voice! There is no need for these pups to suffer senselessly and for pawrents to have to see their beloved pet go downhill by way of Degenerative Myelopathy. We are in this fight together and we need your help to shout from the rooftops and help us SHADE OUT DM.
Our mission is to Raise Awareness for Degenerative Myelopathy ... This will be our 6th Annual RACE and our third year as an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our goals are:
To honor our pups that are currently taking this journey or in memory of a warrior pup.
To help other owners become aware that we can offer them support by sharing our #ShadeOutDM member support group on facebook.
To educate people that this horrible disease CAN be prevented with careful educated breeding and the proper health testing PRIOR to breeding.
To raise funds to help support our Loaner Cart program as well as our mission by attending events, veterinary conferences and shipping materials across the globe all in an effort to "bark out loud" for the pups.
