Since 1965, Gilberts Hardware and Appliance has been a family-owned
business serving Shiawassee County. We started as a Western Auto
Associate Store and now have three locations. In 1979, we joined True
Value Hardware, and later, Do it Best Hardware. Over the years, we've
expanded our offerings to include major appliances, TVs, and more. In
2006, we opened a second store in Dewitt, Michigan. Both stores have
undergone major renovations recently, adding new garden centers,
plumbing spaces, and more. In January 2023, we opened a Scratch and
Dent/Appliance Service and Parts Center in Owosso.
Today, owners Bill Gilbert, Cate Gilbert, Todd Soukup, Patrick King,
(Owosso) and Jeff Archer (Dewitt) continue to provide the best
selection of hardware and appliances, backed by exceptional service.
