Adam's fundraiser page!
This is my 3rd year running 13 miles in support of my friends and family. Every year I need to add new names to my list of people I want to support or remember. I hope for the year that I do not need to add a new name; unfortunately, that is not this year. In the last few months alone I have lost my long time friend Todd Dukes, another friend lost his wife suddenly to pancreatic cancer, and recently my 98-year-old grandmother was diagnosed with bone cancer. Cancer does not rest and neither can we.
The Badger Challenge - an annual walking, running, and biking event which powers the brightest cancer minds, ideas and technologies at the UW and the Carbone Center. The Badger Challenge's mission is to give 100% of all participant-raised dollars (yes, every penny!) to the most promising UW cancer initiatives both in the laboratory and clinic setting. Since 2016, Badger Challenge has raised over $3.6 million and counting.
Help me support the Badger Challenge and its UW cancer mission. All contributions are appreciated - whether it is $5 or $1000, every dollar counts and you can be assured that every dollar you give goes back to the cause and helping those affected by cancer.
