Fit Dog Jingle Jog - Fun Run Fundraiser

Hi! I’m Rachel. You may know me as Birdie’s mom. She is a therapy dog and you may have seen us around ORMC or at events. I am an oncology nurse practitioner and witness first hand the benefits of pet therapy with my patients.

The Beyond the Leash Foundation connected us with Cinder, a loving and energetic pup who has brought so much joy and comfort into our lives. From the moment we met, it was clear that Cinder was meant to be part of our journey. Her playful spirit and gentle nature make her the perfect companion for our adventures and future therapy dog.  Raising a therapy dog in training is costly, and I am asking you to join our team or to kindly donate towards the costs of Cinder being placed in mine and Birdie’s home and to future costs of therapy dogs for first responders.
