Dear Friends,
I am honored to be raising money for a place that I believe in so deeply. In 2018, after losing our Mike, our world was shattered, and I had no idea how I would ever put our lives back together again. Inside the walls of the support group spaces at Imagine, I met others just like me, who were struggling with the same question. It was there that I discussed Mike's first anniversary and his headstone, and how to continue to honor his legacy and keep his memory alive to Cameron and Chloe. It was there that Cameron grew into the empathetic and kind individual he is today. It is because of his experience at Imagine that he proudly carries Mike's memory and can support others who are going through what he went through at the age of 4 years old.
It is because of the generosity of others, that Imagine was there for my family when we needed it. And it is my honor to continue to pay it forward and to do whatever it takes to make sure that every child who needs Imagine will forever have Imagine. Right now, there are children in Cameron and Chloe's classes that are now going through the same journey that we did, and I am proud to say that Imagine is there.
We remember our Mike each and every day and it is because of the kindness of our community that we were able to rebuild our lives. All kids and families going through tragedy deserve this.
