2021 Step Up for IC/BPS Your Way

I have been suffering with IC for almost 12 years it is a very painful disease. It is hard for me to do my daily activities it is very hard to keep a job when I am in the bathroom 60 percent of the time. Living with IC is hard especially when you have a flair and nothing is helping and you have to go the Emergency room and the ER Doctors only think you are there because you want Drugs so they call you a Drug seeker. I would describe IC pain as it feels like having a UTI all the time burning with Urination. It also burns just sitting and I have pressure in my stomach bladder area. I get alot of infections. But I have found an Amazing Doctor in Iowa City she is Urogynecologist she has been doing bladder instillations for me which has been helping alot and we have some medications that I have been on that have helped. I also have multiple other health issues I have Lichens Sclerosus in that area so that isn't fun either it basically means my skin is being eating away, on-top of that at the age of 27 I had to have a Total Hysterectomy Because of Severe Endometriosis. I continue to get multiple UTI's and other infections but I never give up because I have an amazing medical team and my Faith and family are alway's there for me.
