For those that don't know, The Bad Batch is a Star Wars spin-off on Disney Plus and one of JD's favorite shows. It is described as "Members of a unique squad of clones find their way in a changing galaxy in the aftermath of the Clone War." JD says they are absolutely not broken and most of them probably neurodivergent. Together they fight for survival against The Empire as a "highly effective fighting force" (says JD).
Together we can support families in the North Country who have a loved one diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. Like ourselves, who have benefited from a Northeastern NY Autism Alliance grant to purchase items which support JD's daily life. We've also attended their valuable and informative caretaker events and support groups.
