In honor of the Children's Home Society of Virginia's (CHSVA) 121 years of service, I have committed to run 121 miles in the month of May. The "Go The Distance" Challenge is to raise awareness and financial support for Children's Home Society of Virginia in honor of National Foster Care Month.
My family is forever indebted to CHSVA due to their adoption services they provided to help make our "forever" family. Paige and I can not place into words the love brought into our home with now three grown beautiful adopted daughters. CHSVA has been going the distance, creating permanency for Virginia’s children and youth for over 120 years. I'm fundraising through this event to help them continue for the next 120 years - finding adoptive families for children and youth in foster care, supporting those families as well as supporting youth who have aged out of foster care without a permanent family.
My request is simply to ask for your $.10/mile donation or other preferred donation to help me achieve my fundraising goal at: https://runsignup.com/Race/105259/Donate/F43mDlUdob7qYTRM . Your donation when added together will go far toward my fundraising goal and will truly make a difference for the children, youth and families of Virginia! My family is a true life example.
