Join me in fundraising for SRLA as I prepare to run the Los Angeles Marathon this fall! SRLA is an organization close to my heart. From 2005-2009, I ran with Griffith Middle School, completing five marathons. My coaches, Mrs. Whitsitt and Mr. Nagayama played an important role in motivating me to keep challenging myself year after year, and the program taught me that hard work, focus, and perseverance can make what may seem unreachable achievable. This year in November SRLA students will be in the middle of their training for the 2022 Los Angeles Marathon and I am training to represent them on the race course.
Join my journey as I prepare to train for the marathon after more than a decade and help me meet my fundraising goal!
Thank you for your support!
More about the program:
Now in its 32nd season, Students Run LA creates a safe, supportive community at 185 public schools across Greater Los Angeles from communities hit hardest by the COVID-19 health crisis, welcoming more than 3,250 students of all backgrounds and abilities to train alongside their volunteer teachers to complete the Los Angeles Marathon. Through this life-changing experience, students discover their best selves and learn how to make plans for the future. Help keep SRLA running for years to come. You can join me by donating or becoming a charity runner, too!
