2024 Campaign of HOPE

It is time for our annual HOPE fundraiser. This past year has been exciting, filled with new educational projects, research, advocacy, and service. Please join us by supporting our programs in the year ahead.

The pandemic has put Workwell Foundation and myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) in the spotlight. As the number of Long COVID cases rises, health and advocacy organizations continue to look to our work on ME/CFS for guidance on pacing, rehabilitation, and disability testing for Long COVID.

Our work has never been more critical. People with long COVID face the same stigma as those with ME/CFS. This past year, we advocated strongly against prescribing graded exercise therapy (GET). Using our 2-day CPET protocol, we have found that many patients with Long COVID experience intolerance to aerobic exercise and delayed recovery.

Some highlights of our accomplishments this past year:

•   Participated in several webinars
•   Published peer-reviewed articles
•   Presented new scientific papers
•   Completed a PEM mentoring program for rehabilitation clinicians
•   Continued collaboration with Lumia Health

We are on the cusp of better understanding the drivers of post-exertional malaise (PEM). Your donation will allow us to unravel the mechanisms of PEM. Our work ensures that medical professionals understand the pathophysiology of ME/CFS, Long COVID, and other fatiguing illnesses.

Can you help us take our work to the next level?

Your contribution will help the Workwell Foundation reach our goal to raise $25,000

Please consider Workwell in your end-of-year giving plan. We will turn donations into research and educational resources so desperately needed by those suffering from post-exertional malaise (PEM) and post-exertional symptom exacerbation (PESE).

Thank you for your ongoing support.

In solidarity,

The Workwell Team
