Athletes for Charity

Dear Family and Friends:

As we are in the season of giving, we are reaching out to ask for your support of Athletes for Charity's Holiday Toy Drive throughout the month of December to benefit homeless and migrant families/asylum seekers in Queens, NY.

Our goal is to deliver gifts to the parents (e.g. hygiene and household products such as detergent, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, etc.) and toys to the children.  The children range in age from Infancy to 18 years old.

If you are in a position to support, here are some ways that you can donate and help bring some joy to youth and families in need this holiday season:

• Monetary Donations - Donations of any amount from $1 and up will help us purchase the wishlist items for the shelter's family.
• Purchase and Donate Gift Cards - Please email Cathleen at info@athletesforcharity.com to coordinate receipt of the gift cards.  
• Unused Gift Cards - We have all received gift cards over the years and billions of dollars of gift cards go unused.  If you have an unused gift card sitting around or one with a few left over dollars in it, we will take it.
• Brand New Unwanted Gifts or Products you have at Home - We will take any brand new unwanted Gifts that you may have received that is age appropriate to recycle as a brand new gift to a child or parent. Please email Cathleen at info@athletesforcharity.com to coordinate receipt of the gift cards. 

Let’s work together to bring joy to children and families who are less fortunate that we are this holiday and spread some happiness and cheer!
